BOCA RATON — Bowlero — Boca Raton’s newest bowling alley that’s situated at the former site of Strikes at Boca — is just days from opening.

The alley opens June 1, though a grand opening event will take place at a later date, which hasn’t been determined. The opening date was confirmed this week by Jeff Evans of the Comras Company, a real estate firm that represents Bowlero in Florida.

Bowlero will open less than a year after Strikes closed last September, after 39 years of business.

The bowling alley will be able to accommodate a party vibe with black lights, TV screens, arcades and dance music or switch to a league bowling atmosphere, said Andrew Hirsch, district manager of the South Florida Bowlero Corp.

Bowlero Corporation expects to open a Boca Raton location sometime in 2021, hopefully before the Summer. The South Florida district manager says that the new Bowlero will most likely resemble the location in Jupiter, which is pictured here.

Guests can expect pub food, shareable finger foods and cocktails.

Representatives for the company did not immediately offer details on operating hours, pricing or interior design, but in January, Hirsch said it will likely resemble their Jupiter location.

Bowlero will open at 21046 Commercial Trail, near Military Trail south of Glades Road.
