American Heritage, Atlantic runners participate in Spanish River Invitational

American Heritage School Boca/Delray and Atlantic High School were among the 108 teams and 1,861 athletes that finished the 39th annual Spanish River Invitational cross country meet at South County Regional Park in Boca Raton.

American Heritage had six girls compete in the Class 2A race, and led by junior Tanya Pach, who finished 5th with 117 points. Pach clocked a 20:58.14 to finish 14th individually. Four others finished in the top 37 — Kishma Fleurigene (21:23.81, 20th), Mariana Fedele (21:32.96, 22nd), Savannah Blau (22:11.10, 31st) and Ashley Silva (22:58.97, 37th).

The Stallions’ boys finished 12th overall and were paced by junior Matthew Hinds (18:02.94), who finished 18th.

Atlantic High School had seven varsity runners compete in the 39th annual Spanish River Invitational cross country meet at South County Regional Park in Boca Raton led by Chase Goodridge for the girls and Noah Morone for the boys.
