The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office found human remains in the backyard of a home in Lake Worth.
The Palm Beach County Cold Case Squad received information about a possible body buried near Selberg Lane and Kirk Road.
Detectives obtained a search warrant on Thursday and with the assistance of graduate anthropologist students from Florida Gulf Coast University, human remains were located, according to officials.
The medical examiner’s office took possession of the remains and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
