The Palm Beach Zoo, 1301 Summit Blvd., in West Palm Beach is extending its “Kids Free” promotion until the end of September.
From now until Sept. 30, two children ages 3 to 12 will be admitted for free with each full-price adult admission ($24.95). Children age 2 and younger always receive free admission at the zoo.
From the feeding aviary to the wildlife carousel, the Palm Beach Zoo offers activities and experiences for all ages.
“The weekends in August have been filled with happy families enjoying the animals and experiencing all the zoo has to offer,” said Christine DeMichael, director of marketing and communications. “To give more families a chance to experience the zoo, the offer is being extended until Sept. 30.”
Over the last year, the zoo has also added some new residents, introducing a 2-year-old Queensland koala and a baby squirrel monkey.
For over half a century, the Palm Beach Zoo has provided guests with up-close and personal animal encounters, hoping to connect individuals to wildlife.
The Palm Beach Zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last admission tickets being sold at 4:15 p.m.
