DELRAY BEACH — A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for part of Delray Beach due to a water main break, the city said Tuesday night.
The advisory is in effect for the area south of North Drive between Circle Drive, Club Drive and Evans Road.
The city advises water used for drinking, cooking, ice, brushing your teeth or washing dishes be brought to a rolling boiling for one minute. Bottled water can be used as an alternative, the city said in a release.
The boil water notice will remain in effect until two days of testing shows the water is safe to drink.
Residents seeking more information are asked to call the city’s Water Sewer Network at 561-243-7312.
