Six members of the same extended family have died of complications from COVID-19, all of them unvaccinated, a Palm Beach County vaccine advocate says, WPTV-Ch. 5 reported.
Her grandmother, uncle, and four cousins died. Wilson said her relatives weren’t vaccinated, despite her efforts to convince them to get the shot, because they had been swayed against the vaccine by misinformation.
“It’s just been really bad for my family. We’re really, really struggling,” Wilson told WPTV. “I’m still trying to wrap my brain around it. I don’t have (any) words for it. I don’t know.”
